Spectre

Spectre is the penultimate James Bond movie with Daniel Craig playing James Bond. Together with the last one it forms one continuous storyline. In it we finally meet up with Spectre again, the ominous crime organisation we already know from older James Bond movies. We also meet Blofeld and discover a close connection between Blofeld and James Bond towards the end of the movie. The other important character, arguably the most important character in the James Bond franchise is that of Madeleine Swann, played by the fabulous Léa Seydoux. The story is certainly entertaining but I don’t know for certain how to rank this movie. I still think I like Skyfall as a single movie best but the double bill of Spectre together with No Time to Die is really the crowning James Bond movie achievement in my opinion. All very subjective of course. I watched all 5 movies in sequence over a week or 2 and I have finally come to the conclusion that among these 5 movies I rank this one as fourth. Somehow it did feel a bit imbalanced, hard to put a finger on it, what exactly gave me that feeling. That said, if looking at all James Bond movies it will probably easily end up in my top 10.
