A Quantum of Solace

After the dramatic finale of Casino Royale, a Quantum of Solace is an appropriate title for this sequel. Bond gets his revenge but it brings him very little solace, so quantum is the right word to use. The movie begins where the previous one ended but then soon seems to diverge in a direction with very little obvious connection to what happened before. There is a lot of action and Olga Kurylenko has a nice role as Bond girl. There are good parts in the movie but to me personally the story arc lacks cohesion and as a result the movie sometimes feels like a set of unrelated scenes. Although not necessarily bad, it is my least favourite Bond movie with Daniel Craig.
