Calculator Collection Expansion: HP48GX

After buying a HP48G some time ago and liking the build quality and ergonomics a lot I decided to look out for the improved GX version of that calculator. I managed to find one on eBay for a reasonable price so now I have also this calculator in my possession. I am looking for one of the expansion cards that were brought out with all the extra functions programmed on for e.g. physics or chemistry. I did find some references about how you can write your own functions and compile them onto a RAM card to extend the calculator capabilities. Probably not all that useful nowadays but interesting to explore how that worked, a bit of technological archeology. These calculators were in some limited ways predecessors of handheld computers. TI brought the concept to the modern age with their TI84 that allows you to use python. I have not used that calculator myself but having python on a calculator sounds like an interesting combo to check out.
