The Accidental Discovery of the HP28C

Some time ago I scored an HP28S on ebay for old times sake. I had one of those when I was in my 4th year in middle/high school and liked it a lot. It was more convenient to use than the HP15C I had before it, mainly because of the display that shows 4 entries in the stack which for which you can swap around the order as well. The clamshell served as a good protection when surfing around in a teenager backpack. Because the calculator I got has a dingy battery lid, typical of the model I decided to get a back up item which turned out to be the 28C. This is apparently the predecessor of the 28S with less computing power. It is in better shape and was delivered with its original pouch. I didn’t even know they came with a pouch, I think I lost that for the one I had as a teenager on day one already. I will need to find a good place to put all my calculators.
