Apple Watch Series 11 Review: Battery Life and Features After One Month

I have now used my Apple Watch Series 11 for about one month and I am quite pleased with it. Added software functionality for running and increased battery life are all positive. I could get one with a 15% price discount and if it lasts as long as my previous Apple Watch then I will consider it a fair price. The additional metrics to analyze my runs ‘help’ with getting insights in my running form and efficiency and with the increased battery life I can now also track my sleep. I charge it every other day but could probably survive 2 nights without charge. Last weekend I went on an all day bike ride which I logged without battery problems. By the time I got home I hit the 10% mark of battery charge but last charge was the morning of the day before, so more than 30 hours ago. Although more battery life would be convenient the Series 11 is finally good enough with respect to battery life for my use. I can charge it on an evening before going to bed, wear it 2 nights and days and exercise in this timeframe as well. What remains to be seen is how the battery degrades over time. In the last year of my previous watch this became a real problem when tracking ‘longer’ activities like walks or when it was cold outside. But this only became a problem after more than 6 years and more than 2000 chargings.
