Enhancing Your Dart Experience with Optimal Lighting

Last year I bought a second hand dart carpet from a colleague. They were getting rid of all their dart gear so I got the carpet + a set of darts, a board + surround, all for the price of the carpet alone. As we already had a board the plan was to sell the second board and save some money. Our board is hanging in the garage and this is a bit dark and chilly in the winter. One evening I came home and my son had hung the second board in his room and is now regularly playing with friends in his room. Because the lighting in the garage is not optimal we were using a mobile phone to light up the board but that was also not optimal. I finally went to our local dart shop and got me a circular Target Corona Vision lamp. This is super easy to install if you have a board with a steel rim. I took the parts out of the box, put everything together and then just attached the light to the metal with the magnets. Plug into a socket and you have light. Absolutely brilliant. I should have bought it long ago, now I have no excuse anymore to throw a few darts. Except my aim because it is clear I will need a lot of time to practice as I haven’t played for more than 35 years. My aim is quite depressing. Instead of playing regular games I have resorted to completing the circle and throwing from 1 to 20 again to force myself practicing my aim instead of hoping that the darts will land somewhere in the neighbourhood of triple 20. Luckily no one is watching.
