Introducing Satyrical: Humor in Leadership Critique

If you were thinking there is a typo in the title of this post then of course you were right. But it is intentional. I invented a new word referring to both satire and satyr. I needed a new category for posts that make fun of the current state of affairs in the world (satire), especially pertaining to the behaviour of our so called leaders (satyrs). I decided to call my new category Satyrical Verses. According to some definitions I found a satyr is a mythological creature known for unrestrained revelry and excessive desire and focussed on wild, uninhibited, or carnal behaviour. I would argue that these characteristics of a satyr perfectly describe some of the leading egos of our times. Although there is often nothing funny about what they say and do, on the contrary it is often very sad, I find that the best antidote is a bit of humour. When I encounter something funny that loosely fits this ‘description’topic’ then I am going to post this under this new category. So, if you have idols or very firm and rigid beliefs then possibly these posts are not for you as chances are the content might offend you by accident. To kick off the series I found back an old Youtube video dating from the previous term of the über carrot : Billions and billions
