John Wick: Chapter 4 continues where chapter 3 ended. That film ends with John Wick being betrayed by Winston who shoots him. John falls off the roof of the Continental and is rescued by the Bowery King. Based on this you know what to expect. John Wick is looking for revenge and he kills the Elder who sits above the table. As a consequence the High Table will save no expense to kill him. But, with the aid of Winston, John Wick finds out a way to escape his destiny. We get what one expects from John Wick: a lot of carnage and head shots to keep endless scores of killers off his back. The killers sent by the high table are skilled, ruthless and heavily armoured. Only head shots from up close with a hand gun do the trick or special ammunition, brought by the killers but seized by Wick; that sets them on fire as well as piercing any protection they are wearing. John Wick 3 featured, old martial arts movie start Mark Dacascos. In chapter 4 we see Donnie Yen play both old friend and hunter. I like Donnie Yen, for me he always brings something extra to a movie. The charge against John Wick is lead by the Marquis, played by Bill Skarsgård, who portrays an especially dislikable villain. Then end of the movie is ambiguously open ended. A fifth chapter is the only logical conclusion. If you like the franchise then this movie will probably not disappoint you. If any previous John Wick movies were not to your liking then it is best to also skip this one.
