    Recently looking for a place to eat on Tuesday evening in the neighborhood. Not easy. We ended up in ‘t Kerckevelt. This is in Steenokkerzeel almost next to Zaventem Airport. It is a nice brasserie with good food and a cosy atmosphere. Food is good and service is very friendly. Inside is a renovated old building so it has a bit of its own additional character making the interior unique in the sense that it is not belonging to a chain.   • Tipp-Ex

    Ik gebruikte Tipp-Ex zelf als student in het middelbaar in de jaren 80. Dat waren toen in het begin nog potjes met een kwast in. Dat was niet altijd even handig in gebruik om ergens 1 letter uit te wissen bijvoorbeeld. Tegenwoordig bestaat het nog steeds maar in een handzamere vorm zoals bvb als roller die je over het uit te wissen fragment rolt, mijn kinderen gebruiken het nu. In Nederland noemden ze Tipp-Ex vroeger blijkbaar ook wel ‘blunderkalk’ of ‘Belgenverf’. Fraai is dat, niet snel te betrappen op fijngevoeligheid die Nederlanders.
