The relative meaning of words

Trump is regularly in the news to promote his current and future MAGA achievements. One of them is to bring jobs and industry back to America and what better prize than to have an iPhone made in the USA. According to economists this is not realistic unless Americans would be suddenly willing to pay at least 3000 dollars for their iPhone. Knowing your average consumer you know this is never going to happen. Maybe a couple of rich die hard Apple fans are willing to pay the price but there is no mass market for any phone with such a price ticket. And then there is the lack of production capacity in the USA. If you start to think of it, what does it mean that a phone is made in America ? It must mean something more than just being designed in America as we already have that. Assembled in the USA then ? Seems also a limited objective for someone like Trump. Making an iPhone is not a simple matter. There are many custom chips that go into the phone, some requiring state of the art semiconductor manufacturing, battery; screen, casing and so on. If made in America means all of this has to be done in US then there is a long way to go. Enter Trump Mobile and the golden T1 phone, made in America. Or no, wait, designed with American values in mind. Brilliant. No one can claim this is not true, especially if you don’t specify which values you are talking about. Not sure if this is a compelling argument to buy it though. The people at Infinite Loop will claim that their phones are not only designed with American values in mind but actually designed in America. But the T1 must come with all kinds of built in handy AI features and apps for the true MAGA fan such as automatic liking of Trump posts, filtered google search results and maybe even warnings if you say or write something Trump unfriendly, wouldn’t that be cool ?
