Deja Vu in Eindhoven Redefines All-You-Can-Eat Dining

Went for dinner in Deja vu in Eindhoven with a friend. The concept is interesting. Like in some other places you have a menu with lots of small dishes from which to choose and instead of ordering everything at once you start with some dishes and when you finished them you decide on additional food to order. As the portions are small you can try lots of different dishes and the time between ordering and getting the food brought to the table is not too long so you don’t have to worry about sitting and waiting for food the whole time. What is special at deja vu is the combination of this concept with the setting which is more like in a traditional restaurant. The dishes you get are also served like in a traditional restaurant on nice plates and with attention to the presentation on the plates. So you have dinner like in a traditional restaurant but with the flexibility and variation of the small portions and continuous ordering. It is also an all you can eat offering for a fixed price. Exception are the deserts from which you can order only 2 I believe. Drinks you have to pay separately. All in all I found it an interesting food experience but not exactly cheap for someone like me as I am not a big benefactor of the all you can eat formula. I tend to avoid to keep on eating when I feel like I had enough.
