Bar & Kwizine

Went for dinner in Bar & Kwizine in Rijmenam some time ago. We were without kids so it was a private evening out just the 2 of us. We were tipped to check the place out located in an old house behind the church in the center of Rijmenam. We had good quality food and service very friendly. We had a table in a quiet corner at the front near the ‘bar/counter’. Ideal for a conversation during dinner, atmosphere was cosy. They had some special bears in bottles which was nice, food is something I would describe as a mix of Belgian and Italian. You can get a spaghetti bolognaise but also a steak with fries. Menu is not super large but they also have fish and vegetarian dishes so you should be able to find something to your liking if you are not set on getting something in particular that evening, like say a Cesar salad. We enjoyed it. This is a place with the right cachet for a nice dinner out focusing on the food and atmosphere without spending the time and money on a whole evening 5 course gastronomical menu. So you can come more regularly without breaking your bank account. We’ll be back.
