GA KingsX London

On Friday evening we went for dinner in GA KingsX near Kings’s Cross station to celebrate the end of the exams, passing all of them. We picked this place because we were picking up the rest of the family arriving with the Eurostar later that evening. We picked this bar/club also because it looked classy enough to celebrate and it stayed open late so we could stay a bit longer after dinner waiting for the 11PM train to arrive. It is a bit of a strange place with subdued lighting, a dj and a mix of old and modern interior decoration. Luckily the music is not too loud even though there is a dj. We could talk and enjoy our food without being disturbed by loud music. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was good. One of the better dinners we had but not the best of our trip. But the interior added some splendour to the dinner which was appropriate to celebrate the successful exams. As we had time to kill we had some home made homous to start, followed by a main course and some desert. I had a burger and took a Goose Island IPA to go with it. The burger was nice and the fries I ordered with it were tasty. If you want a relaxing evening out this place is certainly worth considering.
