Second k on the Stromer ST3 Pinion

Last week the odometer on the Stromer crossed the 2000km mark. Again it took a bit longer than expected. Started working on a new project which has me going to The Netherlands regularly which is too far to go by bike. The Pinion + carbon belt drive form a very robust combination. I had to bring the bike in for a short 15′ check after 2 months and then I had to go back once because it started making a strange sound. Took a few hours in the shop to find out what the trouble was. Greasing an tightening a few bolts in the frame fixed it. Next maintenance is scheduled to take place around 4000km and is expected to take another 15′, no appointment needed. Only thing that broke up to now is a plastic part of one of my bags. Bike paths are not well maintained and filled with holes so the wear on the plastic clamps of my bags is large. Luckily that only took another 15′ to get exchanged and fixed.
