Sunday I was planning to go for another bike ride again but it didn’t materialise. Around 3:30 I decided that I had to do something pro active to compensate for the upcoming dinner which would include a lot of food and sitting at the table with some exercise so I went for a run. As my last run dated from end of January I decided to take it slow and not go too far. I ended up doing a short 3,5k loop at a relaxed 6,5min per. k pace. Heart rate stayed under control the whole time, I didn’t have leg muscle or knee problems and it didn’t feel too strenuous so I was happily surprised about how it went after so long without jogging. As hockey season ended last Thursday I will try to bridge the vacation break by regular running again. When I got up this morning I did feel the legs though, some muscles have obviously not been used for a while.
