This year there were not so many summer vacation camps going on so I figured it would be a good period to build a new Lego BMW motor. A few years ago I bought a R 1200 GS model but this time it was the M 1000 RR. Built on scale of 1:5 and containing almost 2000 stones this is a massive piece. We started working on it at the beginning of the summer school holidays but then the remaining camps and our family vacation came in between and the model wasn’t finished until end of August. The model is very detailed with a chain driving the cilinders and even a gearbox. Technically advanced but also visually a lot more detailed than the GS model. Compared to a couple of other sets this one still has a reasonable price. If you like Lego and motorcycles then this set is definitely worth buying. I built this one together with my son and the nice thing about these Lego Technic sets is that you also learn how different parts and functions of a machine fit together.
